i suppose a fan control doent help really with temp readers...

thx

EDIT : and i cant spell :s

Best I can do with my antec P182 using 5 hard drives:

I guess I could connect the 5 case fans to the PSU and hide the cables behind the motherboard but then I wouldn't get any control over the RPM.

^ Very nice. What's the long SATA cable across the middle - a PCI SATA card cos you ran out of sockets?

Anyway, that's your answer - a stonking big case with room to run power cables behind the mobo. I think cable management is an acquired skill though - my Armor+ looks crap and it's as big as a cathedral. At least we don't have to deal with those damn PATA cables any more.

That's mine. :D

It just seems that the cables are never long enough to go behind the motherboard.

The hard drive cables are just rammed in there together crushed into the gaps in the case. :D

I'm going to be doing a new build in the next couple of weeks, and before I start off I start with the best intentions of having everything neat and tidy...but when I start and finish it always ends up looking a bloody mess lol :D

Am getting a 1200 case now though so for the first time will have a window letting everyone see how much of a mess things are in...so I might do things different this time...

Mine. Just kept it simple, the least amount of cable showing possible is really the only way to do it. Pretty easy, especially in a case like this.

I was always the same and your pic looks like my old case. I got a new silverstone tj-09 case which is massive!

This time I spent a good 2-3 hours running cables, hiding them, using sticky connectors with cable ties attached to them.

I don't have a modular psu so there is quite a big bundle of cables, cable tied up on the floor of the case but they don't look bad.

The worst cables to hide are the two bloody pci-e power cables to the graphics card - nothing I can really do about them.

One thing that helped a lot with the silverstone case is that it comes with 6" extension cables for just about everything which meant that most cables could run behind the mobo tray.

I will post pics later.

A modular psu along with a better fan controller will be my next purchase to take care of those 4 fan wires and fan splitter cables.

see i have a zalman fan controller but just seems to create more mess coz the wires are longer but not long enough to run round the back and hide... so i myt rip it up ans start again as it wer.
still post pics tomoz.

Fan extension cables maybe? :D

Yeah, its a PCI-E sata controller as my 8800GT covers one of my motherboards SATA connectors and as I use a SATA DVDRW I require 6 ports.

If only the cables weren't so expensive. £2-3 for every extension cable. :( Looks like I'll have to visit the bay.

I know. I was looking for some a while back. I couldn't beleive the price of them. Extorsion.

Especially then when you look at some fan controllers which come with 4 leads for about £15.

In the end I bought a fan controller at auction for a tenner just to get the leads I needed - i used the fan controller anyway ;)
