Arggh Dilemma

Was out earlia and some idiot from across the road thought it would be funny to throw his mobile phone at my windscreen and completely smashed it,i regret now that i attacked him and he is currently sat in the hospital while i am being arrested for assault.

i have 4-5 witnesses who will back me up but the police said they will not hold any charges against him.

is there anything else i can do?

It's not really a dilemma.. more that you're in a spot of bother. He was an idiot for throwing the phone, but you should've at most jumped out of your car and pinned him down, you'll probably get done for ABH/Assault if he presses charges :/

Like you said, witnesses are a good thing, if they definetly give statements it would help your cause...

I mean yes, he threw his phone at your car un-provoked...But then you **Insert random beating method here** into Hospital...So sadly, you may be in the wrong =/

But dear lord, I hope this world has some sense, the kid sounds like scum.

Ye the kid is scum,he has been arrested 4 times in the last month for theft and dangerous driving.

I don't see how any witness account or statement is going to make you look justified in beating seven bells out of someone for chucking a phone :confused:

Wouldn't have gone to the extent to putting him in hospital, but by the sounds of it he deserved it.

he isnt in hospital on life support ^^ just a cut eye and a broken rib,but my car is only a week old and cost me a lot of money .. he is old enough to get charged but nothing is happening to him

well if the pohone broke the windscreen and obstructed your veiw/shocked/supprised you, there could have been a major accident.

Go to the papers and tell them about his previous, the pregnant woman and how the police wont do anything.

Should get you enough to pay your fine

Also you then look like the brave soul trying to save the preggers woman, and the police defending the criminals again, any good journalist should easily spin it that way.

Well my car was parked and he just through the phone straight into my windscreen,i was already half way up the road when he did it,but the police are coming back in the morning to get a 2nd statement
