Toy guns, highstreet stores?

Hey guys,

I've got a fancy dress party to go to tomorrow, and I need 2 toy glock style guns and a toy desert eagle style gun for the costumes, i thought it'd be easy to pick up in a poundland or something but absolutely NOTHING, even toys r us dont have any :| :| :|

Basically, i can get to anywhere within reason from Oldham/Rochdale/Halifax area.

Any ideas guys?

My local toys r us has a great selection of toy guns. There's loads of places selling decent replicas up here too but independants, not chains, so that's probably not very helpful. A lot of model shops do replicas too... But they're expensive.

i went to blackpool on tuesday and almost every gift shop i went to had loads of airsoft stuff. most of which looked real
and damn cheap too

Leicester has a good toy shop that sells them so i am sure if you found an indie toy shop, which i am sure they will have in manc land you will get one easy.

Saw a cap gun for a tenner which has a big sticker on it proclaiming 110db :eek:

all toy guns must now be at least 50% bright green, or some other gordy colour. If you paint it all black it becomes a RIF, realistic imitation firearm and you can be charged/fined/arrested/ have your pants pulled down, etc

Well there are no problems owning them, just buying them but you can use certain defences for that, which the op won't have.

You will be breaking the law if you buy anything that looks like a gun and it's not 51% bright coloured.
