They have dropped them in the US of A, 360 Arcade is cheaper than a Wii over there.

Xmas is coming and some big games coming out for the 360 along with a huge back catalouge.

I wonder if they will repackage the 360 once the new dashboard is out? They're treating the NXE as a system relaunch.

I really didn't see another 360 price drop coming in the UK and at that price I think I'll pick another Arcade up for the living room.

It does make you wonder why on earth Sony are releasing more expensive models (160GB) in the current climate...

I wonder if its a "get em in the store" reduction like they did when they dropped the wii to £159 the other week? Good prices though, whats that about a £30(ish) drop across the range? As for Sony and the PS3, they may drop the price but they will deny it up til the day they drop!

You don't put a one week offer in a catalogue on page 238. Maybe a small mini offers magazine, but not in a fat one.

Wouldn't surprise me if we do get a price cut soon. The reason the 360 has just seen a price cut in the US is because of the Jasper board - presumably they're starting production now so they can afford to drop the prices.

I'm totally guessing here but I assume that when Jasper actually ships then we'll possibly see a price cut here. £130 for an Arcade is pretty insane though.
