And we thought we'd never see your face again after last weeks debacle![]()
if a straightish line is crossing over the track right to left then yes he was lol look where lewis is as mark moves to pass him then look where he is when he bumps webber off the track that is not a straight line
It wasnt really a debacle.
Had they banned Hamilton and taken away all his points for the season - that would have been a debacle.
He only lost a few points and still came out of the race leading the WDC, hence, its not too much of a big deal. Even Hamilton himself, has stated that he isnt too fazed about it.
EDIT: the FIA seem to be doing everything they can to keep the title race as close as possible and make it go down to the last race of the season. In 2007 and 2008, this generally meant going pro-Ferrari. Its a shame that they seem to be discouraging "racing" and "overtaking". Even the normal F1 viewer (if this thread is anything to go by), is now scrutinising every overtaking move made. This should not be.
1.5 decades ago, Senna got away with much worse and didnt even get so much as a $1 fine. He intentionally took Prost out of a race and made no effort to hide his intent. He also brake-tested Mansell at Monaco 1992. No one even suggested that he should be penalised. And Mansell himself, accepted that that is part of racing, at the highest level.
If people like Mark Webber can't handle ruthless drivers like Hamilton (or Senna/Prost/Piquet, before him), then he really is in the wrong Formula. Has Mark Webber actually complained at all?
Has Mark Webber actually complained at all?
Can I repeat my question from the last race thread, why do people hate Hamilton so much?

Actually lets shift focus a little...
How many crashes does that make for DC now this season?
Shouldnt we rephrase that to "How many races has DC finished in this his final season?"
![]()
No but he did put his hand up in protest during the race itself![]()
He is warming up to try and take out the entire field in one go on his final race.
LOL
Perhaps DC would rather go out with a BANG, rather than wimper.
Can I repeat my question from the last race thread, why do people hate Hamilton so much?
Yup, maybe hes trying to crash into everyone whos ever crashed into him, just some of the other newer drivers keep getting in his way![]()
David Coutlhards Diary:
"Dear Diary,
Today I have yet again successfully ruined another drivers race by ploughing into them. In actual fact I could have potentially caused another incident involving drivers running over the debris from my 'accident', but it was not meant to be.
My collision agenda is on course and Hamilton is scheduled next on the list which I hope to achieve at the Singapore debut GP."
Who hates Hamilton?
There are people who get a bit annoyed by him on occasion, a few (like me) who detest the horrendously fanboyish element who infest the media and internet and go around thinking that he's the second coming of Christ, and one or six who think that unless your car is red you've got no business being at the front of proceedings. But that's about it.
Yawn - why do so many people feel they have to defend him just because he is British? At least my opinion isnt partly based on some unjustified need for patriotism...Cos sadly a proportion of British people like to knock their successful sportsmen and women for some reason. Happened with David "We lost the world cup and its all his fault for getting sent off" Beckham, Tim "could do better" Henman etc etc.
For me hes the personification of the New Labour spin campaign...
