tbh yeah, they are quite ugly. but like with every honda. there a small things you can change and it make the car look way better. Mainly Alloys and lips
Not bad for a Honda..(not like my current car has a Honda engine )
Anyhow, the cda is no better than the standard filter if it's using the stock airbox, you need to route it further down bypassing the airbox to feel any difference, if any..
it was i 128k when i got it but now just over 129k. Its got full honda history up to 2002 or 2004 cant remember and then receipts from an indie garage up until a few months back when it had a new distributor fitted

Firstly it should be black, secondly it should be JDM. Other than that you have a good buy, I loved mine.
Things to watch out for:
-Check the rear arches, very prone for rusting. Get them tended to and sealed if you can
-4WS. Check this actually works! Check the fuse is in for the warning light as it has been known for people to take this out to hide a very costly repair job. The 4WS was shot on mine but I managed to open up the electronic system in the boot and attack it with the soldering iron. If you find any faults develop with it contact me and I can help.
-Exhausts on these are expensive, check it isn't about to fall off.
-Engine, generally bomb proof but make sure the belts have been serviced.
Other than that there isn't much you should find go wrong on these so long as you look after it and keep up servicing.
I want to know how you guys can travel like 200 miles to see a car with the risk that the car is nothing like advertised !!! That would be like £80 wasted on the train. And do you get it insured on the day when you get there or something?
I just took the risk Did it with my civic that i bought of ebay as well. Only cost me 29 quid to pick it up (i paid for my friends train ticket and in return he drove us to b'ham) and yeah, i got the insurance quote all sorted the day before and then rang up and started the policy when i had the keys in hand. I didn't have a plan on getting back to b'ham had the car been a complete crapper but i was less worried as it was owned by a preludeUK member who seemed to know what he was talking about (his brother also had a very nice eg9 civic vti and he had just bought an accord type r hence selling)
