Eh thernet or Ethernet?

eethernet i say

but i say linux and asus wrong

line-ux
ay (like hay) -sus

i never say those words though, i just think them :p

I say them that way too... isn't that the right way :(?

judging by the amount of negative comments i had in the 'how do you say ASUS?' thread, i think my way is wrong :p

everyone else seemed to say 'lin-ux' and 'a-soos'

ace-us i believe i used..

if any of those words come up in a real-life conversation though, i'll kill myself

oh, and to contribute:
ethernet = ee-thur-net
linux = linn-ux
asus = ay-suss

and here's a question: how do you say "nvidia"? :p

me: "en-vidia"

some people pronounce it "nuh-vidia" lol

I work in networks, and I very rarely hear anyone say "eh-thur-net". It's always "ee-thernet" :D If you think about it, when people talk about radio waves and transmission, they often mention the "ee-ther" :)
