After making a thread regarding my alcohol consumption I decided enough was enough, Its time set myself a Tee total Target!

So 1 Month alcohol free was the challenge I accepted.

As I log on to Ocuk every night almost. I thought I could use it to motivate me into keeping track!.

Some of you might think this is a lame thread Idea, but it might help me keep it in my mind.

If you yourself have a Vice you would like to quit. Be it smoking, gambling, drinking, wow ;).. anything.. just Say what you would like to achieve and post it up here. Set yourself a challenge and ill make a list which ill update.

Anewbe4u - Target 7 Days of no nail biting. - 7/2
Captain Planet - Target to stop Smoking Full stop - 28/22
Margaret - Stop nail biting - 28/22
Ben M - No swearing - 14/8
Secretspy - To exercise daily - 28/23
GamerTM21 - No Nail biting - 7/1
Dracata - No Diet Coke - 28/22
FrostedNipple - No hand shandies - 14/11
Qwerty321 - Be nice to people - 14/11


Ill keep my log regardless of how much I might get griefed for spamming up GD! :)

If you mess up, be truthful then ill edit accordingly :)

I am a social smoker, as in I smoke when I go out and drink. It's silly really because I won't smoke all week but I'll smoke a pack on a saturday night, what is the point? It makes me smell and I feel like poop the next day... So I shall stop social smoking (that is quite an oxymoron nowadays to) forever!
 
no swearing, 14 days.

I almost never swore, but all the people that I work with swear, so I kinda picked it up/ started to assosciate with them more.
 
I bite nails but I see nothing negative about it, saves time trimming em anyways, no reason to stop imo...

Have loads of other bad habits too but just cba quitting em :p.
 
I gave up smoking yesterday after 8 years. I got to be honest I'm finding it pretty easy, just have to really think about ignoring your mind telling you what you want and tell yourself its not what you want and why (double thinking almost). Then think about or pre-occupy yourself with something else as quick as possible to take mind off it.

Ive set a standard 28 day challenge for margaret. and anyone else who wants to stop something but doesnt specify. ill say 28 days to keep track :)
 
If anyone can think of a good effective way to keep this up to date. would they be nice enough to say.

My lack of knowledge on geeky stuff could make this tricky ! :D

In the meantime ill just edit the main post and add people who want to quit something seriously. I wont add stupid things though. :)
 
Lots of nail biters! I would try and stop myself, but I know I could never get through the day without.

How will we survive without Zefan?!
 
its not really a vice as such but i want to try and exercise every week day because im not happy with how i look. trouble is i get in from work, sit down and then i cba to do it.

or i will do it for a few weeks then fall out of the habit again. my goal is to exercise every weekday evening to get the body i want by dec 12th (our works xmas party :D)

would that count as part of this?
