How to fix negative camber

Hello all,

Noticed today that my passenger front wheel has a bit of negative camber. This is probably why we all nearly died at the RR.

How can this be resolved? Relatively easy to fix?

Oh, and I got the alignment sorted on the front panels bar the front bumper if anyone remembers t'other thread!

Bent is a good possibility, worn....unlikely....as the car was in an accident and 'professionally' repaired by a family relative /o\

What, by being bent, could cause the negative camber?
 
i'm struggling to think of what could be bent to cause you negative camber. Other than the upper control arm (which is what you'd replace if you were adding a camber kit) everything else is pretty much big and solid and to me looks unbend-able. How bad is the negative camber? Could it be by any chance that the shock has had it and thus that corner is lower giving you the negative camber?

It's not THAT bad, the car still handles VERY well, I only noticed it when I took the wheel off to replace my brakes I realise I'm missing a shed load of rubber (about an inche) off the tyre. Plus when I give it full right lock it does rub against the wheel arch....was going to get around to fixing that :p

I *think* the upper control arm was replaced in the repair, the shock definitely was. I'll need to check.
 
So do you even actually notice negative camber by eye? Is the top of the wheel more tucked in than on the other side?
With regards to the tyre maybe you just need an alignment (adjusting toe) as this is the main cause of uneven wear, this could also be the reason the wheel rubs if it was already very close when aligned properly
 
Yes you can, infact it was Dad that pointed it out as he noticed it when fitting the bonnet today, now he's said it I'm noticing it all the time!
 
I wouldn't be surprised if it was your upper control arm that was fitted and may be slightly off.

best taking it to a place that do 4 wheel alignment for them to have a look on the computer to see if it's actually off
