Anyone ever bought this? And how the hell do you use it?

I bought some, by accident I may add, thinking it was just teabags.

The instructions seem to say use it just like coffee granules, but I tried to make some just now and theres just leaves floating round in it, even after stirring!

The portions must be individually measured by yourself for use in a cup, mug, or teapot. This allows greater flexibility, letting you brew weaker or stronger tea as desired, but convenience is sacrificed. Strainers, "tea presses", filtered teapots, and infusion bags are available commercially to avoid having to drink the floating loose leaves and to prevent over-brewing. A more traditional, yet perhaps more effective way around this problem is to use a three-piece lidded teacup, called a gaiwan. The lid of the gaiwan can be tilted to decant the leaves while pouring the tea into a different cup for consumption.

Actually, if you get a proper strainer, go and buy some chinese / japanese / herbal teas - they're really nice.

What on earth is the world coming to, when someone doesn't know how to make real tea! :p

I don't make mine any other way. It tastes much better than teabag tea. Just go and buy a teapot - nice and chunky to retain the heat - and a tea strainer. One teaspoon per person and one for the pot. Warm the pot first with some scalding hot water and tip it out, then put the tea in, then the water. Leave to steep for 5 minutes. Pour, and enjoy some actual properly brewed tea. Remember to put the milk in the cup first so it doesn't get scalded by the hot tea and curdle.

You can use loose tea like coffee granules, my Dad prefers it like that - they don't dissolve like coffee though, but they should sink to the bottom of the cup. Dad once made me a cup like that and didn't tell me, cue me getting a mouthful of tealeaves when I necked the last half an inch of tea :(

Personally I'd use a teapot ;)
