The darkside took me over :( wanted to get both acounts sorted out tonight so we could play tomorrow on our day off, now i'll prob have to spend half of it on the phone to EA, lol. I've opened up support cases via the web like for both cards to cancel all orders, so shall see what happens!

Heh, don't worry mate, I'll be starting around then too. I'm tempted to buy it early though, it's just that I honestly don't get online enough at the moment to warrant it being worth buying right now.
 
How does the special items works? Do i enter the code in the same key-validation page on war-europe than my cd key? Also each character get these items or only one of them ?

Also what GFX settings do you guys use ?
Atm i use 4x AA and 16x Anisotropic, i'm not too sure on how to configure the rest if someone could give me a hand!

Enter the code in the same place on the website that you entered your headstart code. You might have to wait a while for a confirmation email. Once you get that find a postbox ingame and your items will be there. Don't know if each toon gets them, as I've only tried it with one so far.

Not sure what you mean by the graphic settings, there's only what you can get at via the game options and then forcing AA and AF via the nvidia / ati control panel (this only works if you turn off specular lighting in the game options).

Also, if you have an ati card, turn off adaptive anit-aliasing in the CCC or you'll get a weird transparent head effect in game.

I have a Nvidia 8800 GTX, what i ment is okay, i put AA and Anisotropic but there are other things like tripplebuffering etc.. i'm not too sure about. Any advice on these?

Should be fine - depends on the res though. I play at 1280 x 1024 (max res my screen supports) on a GTS and it's fine on max.

I have yet to have a C2D on Vista x64. I'd suggest if you're overclocking then rever to defaults and see if it's better. Other than that ensure you have latest drivers, etc.

I am finding it fine, last night was a max of 250 people and only 30 minute wait. It's starting to drop, other day it was 580 at one point. In the end the queues will stop and it will be instant but until then you got to ride out the wait, i mean Azgal looks good so far and a a lot of guilds progressing well already.

I had problems at first. My CC expires end of this month and the checkout kept on saying it had expired. :confused: Managed to get round it. Looked at EA Store but it cost a fiver more so didn't try it.

All downloaded and patched up by the morning. Made loads of Destro chars on Azgal and Order on Hirn. Now way I'm waiting 1+ to play, so we will see who gets played first!
 
Its getting OK atm, but isn't it going to get bad again once the retail copies come out ?

I'll have to see what its like again tonight I think.

AoF just hit rank 4 this morning before the server maintenance.

Had to wait around 20 mins around 8ish last night on Azgal, just alt-tabbed and read some stuff online. It's the same as it was with WoW for the first few months, some realms had 2hour plus queues on there. Hopefully most peeps will roll on the lower pop servers tomorrow.
