I ment phyiscal size of the 2 300GB models. Do they perform exactly the same?Hmm, don't know what you mean
Do you mean the Capacity like the 74GB to 150GB to 300GB or the actual physical size as 1 is in a caddy and other is not ?.
Ok, 1 problem though i just checked and there is only 1 in stock of the newer version, so unless they get stock within about a week il have to order the older versionThey are the exact same, 1 is in a caddy so it fits a normal 3.5" bay and the other is for Server/Enterprise use.
Beware as the earlier caddy and this caused issues in some uses with the position of the SATA port/power sockets and they also had a early firmware that got around 103MB/Sec over newer firmware at about 108MB/Sec. (approx and will vary on different Mobo's).

Cheers helmutcheese,
Is theres no part number or something to allow me to verify? Was hoping for the 300Gb one to replace my old 150Gb Raptor...
I presume the 150Gb and 300Gb have identical performance figures other than the 300Gb is a 2 platter HD
