There's having an idea of self worth and there is being wildly delusional.

It wasn't what I expected when I saw the title of the thread if I'm honest. I can think of other ways I'd rather spend the €1m than just on an expensive lay.

It reminds me of the old joke:
A man meets a lady in a bar and asks if she'll sleep with him for $1m dollars. The lady has a think and imagines all she can do with the money, if it's worth sacrificing her morals for and decides that it is.
