cancelled my order with them, i dont think i would have got it in the post until monday, getting it elsewhere for £18 but atleast i will have it tomorrow or friday

15GB is the 'free space required', Steam downloads are usually compressed, so i'd imagine the actual download size to be around 3-5GB... hopefully.

Anyone had theirs despatched from that channel islands shop? The purple high street one is generally v good with pre-orders I've found but often more expensive.

You'll have to restart Steam before it'll download.

Well, looks like for steam we are looking at a pretty large dload, heres a pic of the file sizes from direct to drive.

7.2gig for warhead sp and 6.6gig for crysis wars. :eek:

D2D doesn't compress any files tho, it is just a dump of the game dir.

Steam usually compresses the download then unpacks it, so with a bit of luck it should be slightly smaller.

Annoying thing is D2D already started downloading in the US, whereas Steam still hasn't unlocked the game...

If it is the same for us i'm never gonna get it downloaded tomorrow due to stupid throttling limits

Americans are already doading it via steam :rolleyes:

I love how the original release plan for this game was europe\uk get it 2 days before america, and that somehow flips flops into them getting it a day ahead of us. :confused:
