What games do you get your rear end handed to you every time you play? and what games do you consider yourself to be pro at?

When ever I pick up a beat-em-up game like street fighter, I can never win, not even to someone that button mashes! I love playing these games, but I'm just horrible at them! Can never get the combo's down in time. :p

I'd say I could hang with pretty much anyone at SOF2 back in the day. I loved that game. :D

What about you?

I love both racing games and beatemups but suck hard at both.

What i really do think i'm good at is FPS' on the PC, i'm fairly good on a console but the controls hold me back slightly, on the PC with a decent mouse configured how i like it i play really well in deathmatch style games. I don't have precision point accuracy, so i'm not the best in the world at things like counter strike, but in games like quake and team fortress as soon as i get my mits on a rocket launcher i dominate.

I think that's all down to the fact i used to play team fortress classic competitively as a Soldier class (rocket launcher) back in the day.

Stealth Action games, because I have the patience to play them the way they were meant to be played. I love them.

Also, I'm a big fan of RPGs from Square, And I'm a completion-monger so I play until I have done everything.

Then, On the other side of things. I suck at First Person Shooters. YES, I do. It's a real shame, because as much as I love them, I lack any sort of precision or strategy :(

I'm generally pretty good at most games once I get the hang of them.

JRPGs are probably my weakest link, I like them but usually struggle with them, hence me only getting to the 3rd disk on Lost Odyssey and never touching it again.

I generally score pretty high on all FPS games after a couple of goes on each map so i know my way around.

I suck at games like Sim City which is a shame as i really like playing them.

I am terrible at fps on the consoles but much like streeteh i am confident on a computer as i used to play both clanned TFC and CS.

I am fairly competent at most games but some games do just get the upper hand on me for some reason; i struggled for a long time in fight night round 3 but then after some practice i progressed.

I'd say I'm good at RPGs, simply from so much practice and I wouldn't say the majority are that hard anyway once you get into the right mindset.
Rubbish at Ninja Gaiden but I think many people can probably admit that :D

Average at everything else.

I'm usually very good at Sports games, they're my favourite genre after all. Racing and FPS I'm very capable at too.

I'm pretty crap at games like Oblivion, Mass Affect or any other games that requires a lot of reading up on certain stuff. I can never be bothered.

I've hit a real wall with playing Guitar Hero these days. In my old house we used to play it a fair bit, but I stopped when I moved. Now, when I try to get back into it, I just can't seem to manage the jump from medium to hard. Medium is utterly easy and thus pretty boring, yet in hard I just can't seem to grasp what's going on soon enough, and get frustrated really quickly. It's like I can see the patterns, but they just don't seem to happen when I press the buttons.

On the flip side, countless wasted years of playing Counter-Strike (and occasionally UT/Quake 3) mean I can pick up almost any FPS and instantly be a decent standard in it.

Good at every type/genre of game except for fighting games in the area of say Virtua Fighter or that more recent one where you need to pull off 20 combo's in 5 seconds just to get anywhere. I went through all that crap with the SF2 series back during my college days and find it hard to believe that the formula is still alive and kicking.

i am terrible at fighting games
i considered myself great at racers, especially last gen where internet play wasnt a factor - i always complete them etc - but i find that if i go online with a racer [n4s,forza,pgr,burnout,grid etc] then i end up getting thrashed

now i think i am best at skateboarding/snowboarding type games
also pretty good at FPS but more so on the PC

good thread idea btw robert1986

I dont do fighting games, I might win the odd one but not through skill its just pure button mashing lol.
Fairly good at racers and fps.
Lately I like to think myself as quite good on the old guitar hero/rock band games. But only because thats all I really play now adays tbh.
This is all based on console.

I suck at football games, really like them but I just can't play them well.

I'm a decent FPS player, especially good at team based versions which I put down to Tribes abuse back in the day (on PC).

im good at racing games, guitar hero type games, football games, most types really.

i suck at button basher games (track and field type) just cant do them, there aint been any for a while so thats ok :p my bro owns at them, no idea how he does it

i mainly like sports and fps and racing games not that great online with them, espicially racing games but on my own im ok , i normally find it hard to complete games either by bordom or just it gets to hard.

the only game ive completed this year is uncharted:)

good at racing games and things like skate, crap at rts although i really enjoy them, somewhere i the middle for he rest :)

ranked 151st (i assume globally) on GT5P with the Ferrari F1 on the High Speed Ring track so thats not a bad achievement :) think its about 49.5 seconds...

always get skanked in RTS when i come up against people who know what the most efficient unit is to kill this unit and all that jazz...
