So i'm going to be interviewed for a job as a driver. Anything I should expect? I should think that if I can hold pizza boxes without turning them upside-down I'll get the job.

'Do you mind if your car gets utterly ****** from the worst sort of driving you can do, constant stop start town work?

'Do you mind if we pay you 70p a delivery to cover the wear on your car and the petrol even though it probably wont even cover the fuel?'

'Are you gullible?'

he wont use his own car will he :/

They don't give you cars, so I will be using my own. They have mopeds, but I haven't done a CBT, and have never ridden one before.

My car is pretty economical with town driving, where I live is quite small so I shouldn't have to go too far. If I get all the close orders then the 'tip' with each delivery should add up a bit.

will you work for peanuts?

answer yes and you'll get the job. answer no and you won't. I know how I'd answer.

will your wage even cover your petrol and insurance?

Don't forget if you're using your own car you'll need to add business cover to your insurance. Lots and lots of lovely expensive business cover.

Minimum wage AND they make you use your own transport and cover your own travel costs?

I'd tell them where to shove the job..

you mean insulated bags i take it?

by the sounds of it, you're perfectly suited to such a job.

/sarcasm.

I'm not terribly bothered about the money, my transport costs will be quite cheap, and I think its a job I'd enjoy. What I'm worried about is if they ask me random questions in the interview like 'where is this random street' and they answer is that the street doesn't actually exsist or something.

I don't think street knowledge is that important anymore. Most of the delivery guys who come to me/sit 3 inches off my bumper have a satnav in the car.
