The Witcher - Enhanced Edition

Just a warning folks, the main patcher seems to take forever. Bound to be worth it though. :)

Update: Just been on it for a bit and there are definitely noticeable changes in dialogue and inventory management, bound to notice more changes as I play as I've only just left Kaer Morhen. I was pretty disappointed to see that there are still odd lines down the screen when it's showing a cutscene or when you're talking to people, but I guess that's engine related.

I also noticed it was jerky, but I had 8xAA on (with 1920x1200 res) in my drivers so I will turn that down.

Edit: Seems my antialiasing was only set to 4x actually, I'll turn it off anyway and see if it's better.

Edit: Used in-game antialiasing instead of forcing it, got rid of all my stuttering. :)

In case anyone's interested I just picked up the retail version of this. You get:

1 x DVD with Enhanced version of the game
1 x DVD with the extra game content and the editor
1 x DVD with movies about making of the game etc.
2 x Audio CDs with Soundtrack and 'music inspired by...'
Three printed books - Game Manual, Strategy Guide and a witcher novella by Andrzej Sapkowski.
 
anyone know if the xtra quests were in the 900mb patch or will i need to find them and install them?

Edit: is it just my memory, but didnt u used to need to have the disk in the driver to play the game? just loaded it up and started fine without the disk.

lovely... come in from work expecting download to be finished and yes it has finished but its only 128 mb big wtf.... second time the patch dl from polshki has fubared. *grumble*

downloading from fileshack now :D only 17 min wait :D

it started well here but now its gone a bit slower was gonna take 15mins to download now its gone to 30mins but i can bear with that!

time to play on the guitar for half an hour lol
