Hi people, I originally started this thread in "Speakers Corner" but it didnt seem that enough people saw this very insightful and eye opening film.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3351275215846218544

Please do sit and watch this film because it is very important and relevant to the world we are now living in.

And also I please ask for people to be respectful to others in the thread, even if you think their opinions are ridiculous beyond belief.

I have only gotten a few minutes in and it is disturbing. Still why people sit behind the mantra of "if I have done nothing wrong, I have nothing to hide" then this kind of behavior by the authorities will continue to happen.

The loony left tbh. People with beards wanting to protest are nothing new, we got used to that with the whole anti-nuclear lot. Get a wash, get out of your tree, put the guardian down and come back into the real world. In case someone missed it, some nice gentlemen flew some nice big planes into the Word Trade Centre. Similar gentlemen blew up the tube on 7/7 and some of their mates have tried to do it again.

So, let's drop all this rubbish and follow what the socialist workers (THE MOST IRONIC TITLE EVER!!!) what they want, total freedom. Then when all the planes blow up and the tube is taken out, the world banking centres and stockmarkets are bombed to bits and we have to acept Islam as our religion, let's see them protest about that. It would be funny to see how their protests were dealt with then!

I am very happy when I get onto a plane. I would not be so happy if it wasn't for the draconian security that keeps the terrorists away. That is the most one-sided heap of crap, only showing what THEY want you to see. Eat your heart out Michael Moore.

You do realise that this extra security does nothing? I could buy a cessna aircraft for a few thousand pounds and fly it into a passenger aircraft without having to go through any security checks. All that happens is we get our rights restricted for no benefit. And people like you are brainwashed into believing we need it and it makes a difference. Also what your saying has nothing to do with the right to protest outside parliment.

That sand must be awfully bad for your throat.

Of course it doesn't. Those big buildings have fallen like dominos since 9/11. Yes, you COULD to that, but it's one plane you could take down, maybe a couple. Then it wouldn't happen again. Because they'd tighten up who could fly and shoot anything down that diverted from it's flight path.

No sand, I've not been hanging about with swampy and his mates cheers. I've been too busy working, paying their giro's. GOtta have people like this as well, reminds us that the art of propaganda is still alive and well. :)

Now why could that be? Oh of course, there isn't someone trying to fly planes into buildings everyday like the sun and daily mail might tell you. Just like hundreds of buildings haven't had planes flown into them before 9/11....

Then it wouldn't happen again. Because they'd tighten up who could fly and shoot anything down that diverted from it's flight path.

Except that will never happen because a plane would be destroyed everytime there was a problem with navigation....

Try watching the video before you comment (because this is completley irrelevant to the videos content).

There probably is more to it as you say, but this most basic of liberties has been removed.

Really? I must have dreamed about going on the marches against tuition fees not so long back. And I really can't remember anyone protesting at the mine's gala in Durham this year. I suppose being ina colliery band, I was pretty drunk, but I distinctly remember 'stop the war' protest stands etc. I also can't remember ANY 'stop the war' protests in London, and there wasn't 100,000 people marching against knife-crime in London today.

Again, I wil re-iterate. You only see in the vid what they want you to see.
