My dog wont stop following me about!

I hope the dog doesnt know that ive got some kind of terminal illness and is keeping an eye on me or something!.

When I lived at my mothers before my dog never followed me about. But now that im back after being out for about a year she wont leave me alone lol.

The fire is on in a nice cozy living room.. but the dog is choosing to sit beside me on the pc in the less homely dining room.

If i move into the sitting room where my mother is the dog runs follows me through. Back and forth between rooms. I just got up off the PC to go to the toilet and to dog followed me to the hallway outside the bog.

Strange behaviour!, does anyone else have a dog that does this?. I hope she aint on her last legs or anything.. Or i hope i aint on my last legs and shes spending time with me! lol
 
aww, if my dog hasnt seen me for a while she usually just jumps around for about 5minutes then leaves me alone lol :(
 
Were you the one that payed most attention to it before...

ie took it walks, played with it, let it sit with you.

As it may be just its not seen you in a while its being a pap... or missed you as about mentioned :)
 
Our dog follows my dad around non-stop, even sits outside the bathroom while he's in there.

Doesn't care about the rest of us though, little sod. :p
 
Any other pets that have passed away recently?

I had to dogsit for someone elses dog last month and he followed me everywhere to the point where I couldnt even have a wee or a bath in peace. He doesnt do that with his owner, and was just doing it because everyone else had left him and I was the last familiar face he had left.
 
My sisters dog does this, it will actually follow you everywhere. I don't see how it's a problem...it's pretty cool...mind you I drew the line when it jumped into the shower with me lol.
 
Our mutt does this when my parents are away and i'm having to look after him, mind you he also does it to a degree when they are here - I think it's that he's a sociable little mutt and just likes being around people (he tends to eat his dried food when we're getting food ready in the kitchen, and sit on the chair watching everything).

maybe she did miss me i dunno, but when i was here full time before she never did this.

shame my mam aint this happy im home! haha
 
Come to think of it, if im downstairs too long cooking or something, the dog will get off the bed and come to find me.

He loves me :p
 
My parents dog (mine really) likes to be in the middle of everyone in the house. If we're all in the lounge it'll lay in the middle of the room. If someones in the kitchen and the rest in the lounge it'll lay in the lounge doorway. If people are upstairs and down it lays in the hallway.

I think its pretty funny. When i take it back to my house it doesn't leave me alone either, follows me everywhere and goes nuts if i'm not in the same room.
