Games that should be brought up to date...

Destruction Derby (GRID could be easily changed into this type of game, would rock!)
Team Fortress Classic (TF2 doesn't count, no grenades :( )

That would be epic, i'd love a company to avoid the hype machine altogether and just surprise everyone.

Just completed FF7 recently, got omnislash, knights of the round etc etc. I know the game too well which is why i actually hope they redo quite a lot of it so i'll have to re-learn as opposed to just go through the motions like i do on my yearly re-play of FF7.

Any and all of the X-Com games
Doom - and I don't mean Doom 3 - proper up to date doom with hordes of monsters who aren't all hiding in closets until you go by.

aye I bet that it would proberbly get more sales that way too.
As people will just go into a shop and be like ZOMFG !!!! :eek:

and will instantly buy it without a second thought.

It will proberbly never happen but one can dream eh :D

Rumors have been and will be rife until square annouce it. Personally I think a secret released would just be insane. People will go crazy.

Sadly with the amount of people involved in the whole distribution system it would never happen.
 
If they do ever bring out a FFVII remake it'll blow any and all games sale records clean out the water and would probably give square enix enough money so that it wouldn't matter if every game they ever made from that point on failed.
 
Look out for a community remake of the original Unreal in UT3. Planning in progress, and a some content has been worked on ;)
Most likely to be made episodically.
 
Syndicate, I know it's been posted but it's always the first game that pops into my head when I see these threads. Dungeon Keeper would be good too.

The game in full surround with some better physics and modern graphics would be immense. Always thought the original was a great game with a decent story.
Don't need to do much with the cut scenes, if they were upped to an HD res it'd be pretty awesome.
