Okay came across a neat little app that’s like a mini GPU test, okay it’s no 3DMark :p would be fun to post what you get and a nice screenshot :)

Leave it for a minute and two before taking the screenshot, (print screen) has to run in full screen mode, (File - Configure Display - Click Full screen- Then select you monitors resolution –The OK to being - ESC key to cancel)

Here is my attempt with an 8600GT, E2220 @ 3GHz and 4GB Crucial Ballistix ram, ViewSonic 28' LCD @ 1920X1200.

Yep that’s 15FPS :D

run it on my latop at work was getting on average 17fps, in 1280x800, 4xAA.

its a C2D 1.5, 2400XT

looked cool pretty i liked playing with the fov controls

Yeah this has been around for a while. Play with the settings a bit and it can bring anything to it's knees :)
Also heats your card like no other, so keep an eye on your temps.

Making it full screen enabled a refresh rate / vsync at 60fps (as seen by others above), so I just maximised the window instead. Doesn't give the full res but doesn't cap it either. It does run a bit slower in a window as well.

Hmm didnt think about the vsync thing :( Quite a bit pointless then running full screen. I cant see anyhwere to turn it off??

Ah yes, good old RTHDRIBL. Don't think it takes advantage of SLi or CrossFire in case anyone was wondering.

Look in the file/config display its there.

Funny thing is when I run it at say 100hz it will do 100fps and no more
if I run it at 60hz then I will get 60hz.

No matter what screen rez, maybe the physx is helping?

EDIT=my bad 60-120 hz I see in the options.

Was just about to post this app but I see someone has already done it.

It's a great app, really stresses the GPU so great for checking stability.

They have this running at ocuk on one of the machines there. I'll post my results up later :)

EDIT : 8800GTX SLI - 60FPS - I think Vsync is on but cant see an option to disable it ?
