Finally got logged in and got a key. All I can say is, just keep on trying, I got 404s (and other errors!) the first few hundred times I tried logging in.

Here's a tip I saw over on AVForums, if you've previously logged into your Eurogamer account then you can cut out some of the intermediate pages and jump straight to the claim code one...

Thought I didn't have a chance as I'd been playing Socom and heard someone mention it. Following this technique (read somewhere else) it took just 15 minutes to get a code.

Also, keep two pages going, one trying to log you in, and another for the direct link above. The login will probably process without you ever seeing a decent page back.
