I'm about to order the following to go with the 4870 1GB I've bought (Crossfire at a later date):

E8400
Asus P5E Intel X38
Antec Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case

I'm unsure about the RAM, should I get PC-800 or PC-1066?

Also what CPU cooler would fit and be nice and quite?

Cheers

EDIT - VISTA 64 (So 4GB a must)

Depends on what sort of FSB you are wanting to run when you overclock.. Good PC-800 will do you up to 450FSB anything over that you will need PC1066

Cooling wise.. a TRUE with quiet fan would do the job, Tuniq Tower is quiet apart from when the fan really gets going (although you can replace it with a quieter model).. At the lower end of the budget a Artic Freezer 7 would cope ok with a mild overclock

The Gskill PC 2 8000/8500 kits and Corsair Dominator PC2 8500 all work well with the P5E. I would go with the Gskill. Dont' get Crucial Ballistix. I have been extremely lucky and am an exception. Other's ahve had a nightmare and Crucial even withdrew them from the compatiability list.
