Although I often find myself agreeing with them, craeting a list like this requires consideration of too many factors to rate movies in one list. Still quite a good library of great movie titles though.

Don't get how Godfather is always number one, it is a damn good film but I judge the best films on rewatchability.

I've watched Police Academy many more times than I've watched The Godfather, doesn't make it a better film.

Im tired of seeing Godfather at the top of these lists, Citizen Kain pee's all over it from a great height, Laurence of Arabia kicks it in the nads...hell even Ben Hur nukes it from orbit.

Lot of films I haven't seen there. godfather deservedly top but I'm not sure about Jaws in at 5, and I'd push Shawshank even higher.

Casino Royale at 56 must have been someone at the office's idea of a joke.

Also I thought American Beauty was too low down at 96, that's easily a top 25 film.

Decent list overall but it looks like they've put some films far higher than they deserve to be just to be different, Raiders of the Lost Ark for example. I think I prefer iMDB's.

Yeah, American Beauty is certainly better than Casino Royal. And it's certainly better than Ferris Bueller’s Day Off! Raider's of the Lost Ark at 2 :/

I really didn't enjoy The Godfather that much. It was well made, well scripted, acted etc, but the fun factor for me was low. Definitely not one I'd watch again. On the other hand, there's films like Die Hard, True Lies, Con Air etc that I would watch over and over because they're so fun.

ok just had a quick look through the top 100,stuff like Jaws,Lord of the Rings,Back to the Future even Star Wars I agree with BUT,,,where the hell is Planet of the Apes???? The 1967 Charlton Heston one.Cant believe its not there

lol, I was going to check the list out then I read that.

Completely agree.

Movies like music is so personal anyway, everyone's different. Makes the list kind of pointless. Also if you want a general idea just go to IMDB.

Personally I love The Godfather and Jaws
