Games that should be brought up to date...

oooo and Incubation....I was absolutely hooked on that game....fantastic soundtrack too if I remember rightfully!

A Carmaggedon remake would be awesome. Imagine that with modern graphics and PhysX/Havoc, yummy.

Of all the 'strike' games, Jungle Strike would probably be my chosen one for a remake.

I'd like to say Xenon 2 or something like that, but to be honest, it wouldn't surprise me if there's some great freeware indie scrolling-shooters out there (no doubt Neil79 can advise).

Chase HQ is a pretty good call, although I suspect the novelty would wear off rather quickly.

Games I haven't played for more than a couple of mins if all because they are too dated, but would like to see a quality remake of so I can give them a proper try:

Privateer 2
FF7
Kingpin
I-War 2 with mouse support
 
I'd want the original Carmageddon re-made with spanky new graphics.

I lost many, many, many hours to that when I was younger, and would happily do so again!
 
Elite, multiplayer just like Eve has, but with the exact same rules that Elite had just the graphics and online abilty of Eve. The docking procedure must not be touched, it was perfect :p.

I'd even pay a subscription to that if done correctly.

I agree with the docking proceedure as it was fiendishly difficult until mastered, especially with the distraction of combat.

The great irony was that you couldn't afford the docking computer until you had docked 50 or so times (as there were better things to buy like bigger guns)

it could have done with a few more missions Freelancer style. My only critisism with Elite was that it was a bit too huge (8 enormous universes) and open.
 
Did anyone say X-wing vs tie fighter, or any of those types of games. Been a long time since they were out, would love to see a new version, maybe a new more varied game, some flying bits, some running around on a planet/space station bits. Kotor with Force Unleashed combat and x-wing levels added in for a huge game.
