The NF200 chip is only required for Tri-SLI, that's why it'll probably be incorporated into the top ROG boards, i'd be very surprised if the lower specced X58 boards from Asus don't support "normal" 2 way SLI, it's only a bios update after all.

Just need the Intel SSD drives to arrive now as well.

i wish they'd put the IDE port near the ram, or at least in the middle of the board!

no point in upgrading my DVDrw, it works flawlessly

if they move it any further, i'll have to buy a long IDE cable -might as well just replace the drive in that case!

Hahaha very good point! ive got that same problem but lucky i have a long cable taken from a shuttle is one of the ones where the little indivual cabels were stacked to make it narrow

DDR3 still tad pricey tbh seen 2gig DDR3 stix going for £60-70ish roughly... but u can still pick up 2gig DDR2 stix for £20-25 easily...

So its still 2-3x the price tag off DDR2, if they were to release say 4gig DDR3 stix then that would make things most interesting ;)

Id say 4gig is a sweet spot but I gotta admit on 6gig its just nice, perhaps 8gig max and that would end it, either that or 6x2gig DDR3 stix ;)
