That's strange, I was recently playing this on my PSP and it had all the Roadrash games on it... t'was why I got it ;)
 
Yeah I think if this thing had a pay and download style service it would appeal to me more but seeing as it's got just them selected games and nothing more bit of a let down. The only game I would buy it for is Sonic and Knuckles but I got that on my PSP like most people on here :)
 
i must say for 30quid its a bit steep considering you only get a few games.
As most have said get em on your psp.
I still own a mega drive its not portable but i can still play it :D

Do you still happen to have the paper? I didn't think the Sun was out on a Sunday. Was it the News of the World?

You may think this is a strange question but I am an employee of Blaze, the company behind the Megadrive Handheld and as I didn't see the article I would be interested to know about it.

Why didnt you include Sonic 2 it was clearly the best one. What about Toejam and Earl !
Think you will release more of these handhelds. I'm thinking snes etc
 
Yeah, we have quite a few things in the pipeline along the retro theme. We are always listening to what gamers have to say regarding new ideas and which games they would like to see. Obviously I cannot divulge our newest ideas but keep an eye on www.segaretro.net if this kind of gaming interests you.

As just a suggestion im sure you have already thought about it. But release a Donkey Kong type thing portable. With Donkey Kong 1, 2 and 3 maybe a few more if you can get em in there id love that !! :D
Love the whole Donkey Kong Series, expect the stupid go kart racing ones they suck

Maybe he got it confused with Fridays Sun they usually have a artical about games along with music and stuff?
 
I've got a feeling there will be a lot of disillusioned Sega fans who's fond childhood memories of the Megadrive will be damaged forever by this 'portable megadrive'

Nostalgia is a powerful thing people.
 
I still own 8 Sega Megadrives with over 140 games. Those that use emus shame on you. Nothing beats playing Megadrive games on the real thing. I use to go around car boots buying all the Megadrive games I could find. :D
 
Now if it was a portable Snes.................with......deep breath............SuperMarioWorld, Zelda - A Link To The Past, Equinox, Rock'N'Roll Racing, Prince Of Persia, Streetfighter II, Super Metroid, Donky Kong Country, Super Castlevania, Starfox, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario RPG, Super Aleste, Super Bomberman, Super Contra, Secret Of Mana, F-Zero, Zombies Ate My Neighbours, Secret Of Evermore, Chrono Trigger, Pilotwings, Axelay, Super Ghouls And Ghosts, Final Fight, Batman Returns, Actraiser, The Lost Vikings, Plok, Brainlord..............................then i maybe interested or am i asking too much? :p:D
 
Probably been mentioned - but i'll throw it in there anyway...

It says the "worlds first handheld megadrive" - erm, wasn't that the Sega Nomad? That was released back in 1995. Granted only the US but still!
