Advice on RAM Settings

I have 4GB(2x2GB) Geil black Dragon PC2-8500, Cant decide what would perform best:

RAM Underclocked at 900Mhz But with 1:1 Ratio, i could also try tighter timings on this.

or

Just leave timings as standard and try get as high MHZ as possible regardless of ratio?

Which would perform best in real world application?(Games etc, dont mind if one is a tiny bit better only in benchmarks)
