Just bought a 4850 to replace my old g80's, hoping the performance increase will be good, what do you think ? :)

Should look rather fetching in my HAF, all I need to do now is get a decent x48 and another 4850.

yea, it said in th confirmation email that grid has been shipped, if it dont come tomorrow mornin i will be well ****ed, even tho i already own it :)

No swearing

would a 4850 be an upgrade to 2 8800 gts in sli . iwould like to know as my friend has the same setup

cheers

If you are talking about the older 640mb cards I would not think it would be much of an upgrade, maybe a little with some heavy AA + AF......and if you're talking about the 8800GTS 512mb cards then no way....

I would look toward the 4870x2 or GTX 280 tbh

I brought a PowerColor 4850 to go with my E6300 @3.3Ghz and 3GB ram trust me i was not dissapointed.

I then went and got a 4870 to go with my E8200 (currently @ 3.6Ghz) & 4gb ram in my htpc and again i am NOT dissapointed :) .
