It's awesome. Except I'm suffering from an inexplicable bug right now where it runs just fine at 60fps but microstutters every 1 second. (this is just me, it won't happen to you unless you fluffed something up bad)

edit: it's gone away all of a sudden. Strange.

Have to admit I played this on easy first time round, but after hearing people say delta is the only way to play the game on the forums I thiught I'd give it a go.

And you know it's so much better. I am planning my attacks more and using better tactics than before. I am laying traps with the explosives and having an all round more enjoyable experience playing like this.

A great game.

However, when I play in DX9 mode, it crashes seconds into playing the level.

Any ideas?

I do have a config file in the directory. Could it be that?

Wait until you get to the train level on delta. I was doing fine up until that point.
 
Anyone had a go at Busta's config with an 8800GT yet?

How do you disable the stats at the top right of the screen? Bit of a n00b at this. :)

In the config file In your warhead directory either system.cfg or autoexec.cfg, change the setting that says r_DISPLAYINFO=1 to R_DISPLAYINFO=0

Then save the file changes

Care to elaborate on the awesomeness?

Hows the new game modes?
Many servers? Players? etc

There's only one new gamemode, which is Team Instant Action (team deathmatch basically) and a bunch of new maps. Power Struggle much more streamlined than I can remember now, with battles taking less longer to do and are more offensive-based. Tons and tons and tons of servers from what I can see. Great pings too.

haha it probably wouldnt be such a bad idea!

It was like me when i first bought an 8800 GTX i thought now ive finished X and X game... back to wow... **** i sell my gtx? i never did though too lazy :D
 
I have had an excellent playing experience with Warhead. I played it all through in one sitting today without one crash etc. Thought it was better than the original, as somehow I liked the aliens this time around. Also as mentioned Pyscho is a quality character :)
