Have you tried getting into a decent guild? Makes a world of difference in RvR
I should, but to be honest I am starting to realize that WAR may not be for me. I am too much of a take your time and smell the roses PvE sorta guy. I enjoy complex crafting and gathering with big worlds to explore.
Ahhh, ok, yeah I can see if you are a PvE sort of person how WAR wouldnt appeal to you. Not to worry then

Answer my own question but something must have happened, queue down 30mins and its not been nearly an hour since I posted. Jumping down a few mins at a time.

Only way to avoid that is to either be lucky enough to get into beta, or wait for a free trial which of course in MMOs could be a while. On the plus side, at least you paid the £28 and found out that its not your sort of thing instead of forever sitting and wondering what might have been
As soon as someone tells me that they are a PvE type of person, I immediately tell them that WAR probably wont be right for them (think I have done so to a few people earlier in this thread, and certainly told that to one of my colleagues at work who is heavily into PvE in WoW). But ultimately of course you cant beat first hand experience to be sure rather than my word for it

I'm really enjoying the RvR although I'm a PVE guy by nature for a long time. However my main is on Eight Peaks and the queues are so long I've almost given up, therefore got 2 alts that I'm playing. Its hard to really get into a character when the queues dictate who you play
I'm on Makaisson RP server and I haven't had a single queue though it's on the list of quiet/recommended servers.
Tonight had a lot of fun in t2 RvR about 15 vs 15 at the height and at one point in the crypts we managed to block them in at the entrance with a few tanks and slaughtered them. Some players managed to get out only to be taken by those protecting the healers.
Haven't laughed so much in ages at a game.

Name is Arkhan rank 20 disciple of khaine. I'm just getting a bit sick of the queues at the moment. Went from going straight on on saturday afternoon (when it should be busiest) to 600 in the queue and a 2 hour wait last night! I wanted to play war because its a pick up and play mmo but at the moment its exactly the opposite, which is a real shame because the game is superb
