How did OcUK forums become so big?

I have no idea how I found them. I have little to no interest in computer hardware. I've never really looked into buying bits I think. I knew no-one on the boards previously. So I honestly cannot remember how I found them. :p

you come for the hardware advice, you stay to teach morons how to cook eggs/debate hittability/face up to the deceitful nature of organised religion/decide whether or not a mondeo really is the right car for them!

came for hardware advice. and it gave me something to do while at work etc :p

joined when i built my first pc. which was a desktop with a opteron 148 in it, so needed advice on OC'ing it. don't think i bothered in the end heh.

Joined because i wanted advice on a new spec. Managed to break a few rules with my first post though :D

I ordered my first build from here, a boy at school reccomended it. Noticed the forums and asked for advice. Here I am!

I used to be a moderator at theoverclockingstore when it existed, and found out about here from there.

I bought lots of bits from the shop and noticed the forum. Lurked in the background for a while, and this forum is better than most. Lots of grownup conversations, helpful, knowledgeable posters, plus its has some british humour with plenty of moaning about how crap everything is.
