I have a dedicated vent server, 10 slots.

And no, only the "host" can use the controller, hence why we demolished your pod while you had your back turned!
 
Oh right, thought that would have been the case. We will try more custom levels tonight :P

But on that space invaders I was lagging a bit (PS3 lagging not internet) until we all died then it was fine.

The best bit is sticking flowers and leaves on peoples sackboys (and slapping them is fun if they have not yet learnt how to slap back).

You guys messed up my pod yesterday :p BTW, I was using a keyboard to type, and have no idea about this Ventrilo thing. I have a headset but it is Bluetooth and for the PS3. I guess I could bluetooth it to my laptop and use it, but I have a Mac and I assume this Ventrilo thing is windows.

Haha, congrats on your avatar!

I think its just the online play which is laggy, i would like to go through the levels again and try and get all the unlockables, so we have more to play with :D

Want to try and get the 100%'s tonight when i come on?

I should be home for about 5:30pm, and on for 6pm, so we could spend an hour getting 100%'s (even though it wont take us that long probs)

Most of the unlockable items are actually given away in the tutorials, not the 4 built in levels!! I would wizz through the tutorials if you are after extra items, stickers etc for making levels.

p.s. Can people leave a comment on my youtube video please. (I might see if I can get Inazuma to upload a new one of my latest level later). I got over 1000 views so far!!

Haha thats right i forgot me and skippi when planting stickers around your pod aswell :D

And no, ventrilo is on mac aswell as long as you have 10.3 or above CLICKY

rp i noticed your into your level creation, im thinking of trying to get a bunch of us together for an editing team (plus you have the bonus of the eyetoy)

Im going to begin creating some levels at the weekend (i already have loads planned out!) :D

The problem is (at the moment) you can only create levels on your own or with someone else on the same console as you (locally). They say they will release a patch after game release that will enable online creation for upto 4 players I think.

The best bits with levels is you can share your objects with other LBP users, to save them rebuilding complicated items (I have picked up a few objects by completing user made levels). You can do the same for stickers etc.

So for now we would have to create on our own but we can share stuff. I don't mind taking pictures for people, within reason.

I load an image on my laptop and plonk my Playstation Eye in front of it and take a picture, nothing fancy. As long as people give me the image they want, I don't mind taking a snap and sending it around. I know sod all about Photoshop etc so that is the extent of the work I will put in :)

I might make another level this afternoon (problem is it is so easy to get sidetracked and spend hours making a stupid car o rocket and forget about your level). I don;t think I have wasted this much time making stuff since Line Rider (flash game that was popular on internet a few years back).

Edit 1: Thinking of using camera to take pictures of some of these: http://heroeswiki.com/Isaac's_paintings stick them in a frame, and have them as prizes for my level complettion etc!

Add meeee "Durzel" - I should be on tonight, would love to play some of your creations - I've only just gone through the first two tutorial levels (I could only get 45% on the "Learn to grip" one, what am I missing?)

After feeling really dejected about this whole beta experience I ended up getting two codes yesterday (Gamepro and 1UP), I'm certain I've got another on the way (official US site, <1000 comments) and quietly confident about the Gamespot one that should be going out today. If/when I get these I'll dish them out.

I was wondering if the full version can you take content from your hard drive or can you only use an Eye Toy?

I'm pretty sure i've read that you'll be able to use images off your hard drive, which will be great for some hi-res images :)

Did you ever read the manual that was on their website?

I have it saved on my computer somewhere if anyone wants it?
