They have resume for the DVR-MS/WTV formats, just wish they'd let us have it with the 'other' ones.

Yeah, but I'm crap at watching things. 'what did they say?' - wouldn't really want to skip such large amounts.you can tweak the registry so 'skip forward' does it by the ammount of time you choose..
i set it to 5 mins forward, and 1 min for back

The best thing about the EPG in VMC is the movies section shows all of the movies that are on and not just the movie channels. I wish that sky would put this in their upcoming EPG.
Some great VMC 'tweaks' in here. Bledd, you should start a thread just for these.

I have Vista64 Media Centre playing 720p & 1080p mkv's perfectly.I'm with bledd on this. The codecs aren't mature enough to be completely stable in x64. I have two pcs that are more or less used solely for media center duties. They've only got 2Gb RAM, x64 isn't really needed. It's just far less of a headache and far more reliable to use Vista x86 for this purpose.
For any other use of Vista, I'd say if you can run x64 then you should. Just not in HTPC cases!
