iPhone Gmail Calender Sync?

Is it possible to sync Gmail calender? Emails work fine, just wondered if this was also possible.

If you are using a Mac, you can follow these instructions: Google Calendar CalDAV support

After following the instructions, everything in iCal should show up on the iPhone

There is an app called NemusSync that syncs Google Calendar to the iPhone if you are jailbroken.

http://www.nuevasync.com free, and syncs google calendar over the air as if it is an exchange account. It also does contacts! This has worked exceptionally well for me pretty much since the 3g's came out.

Does that sync in both directions or what? There isn't much info on the site as to what it actually does.

yup, both directions. it is a basic site, but since i set it up i've never been back. in fact, i had to check my settings to find the site name!

I wnet on it yesterday and set up an account, but when I went to sync my calendar it said that the events currently stored on my phoen would be erased, it didn't give me the option to send from my phone to google calendar.

ah, shame. I think that's a problem with the iPhone, as that happens with exchange, when you switch to a new calendar provider it wipes all locally stored appointments.

I believe this is also true of Contacts.
