Ok thanks think I will wait until a quieter unit comes out then as these deals are almost the same as others except you do not get a game with them but a £30 discount instead.Hit and miss really. Some will be quieter than yours, some same volume, some louder!!!

Bit misleading with the 360's comparing it to the old (pre recent price-cut) prices to show big savings. (£30 off RRP is still HUGE but they are implying even more!!)

.Just back from my local supermarket and you would never know they had dropped the prices. Only till you read the tiny 2 inch v 2 inch label on the rail would you ever find out! Very crafty!
No more 360 games for me then its way too loud now. Fans on dashboard are loud & sick sounding then ingame once it heats up super loud and the drive is a Hitachi model which sounds like a Jumbo jet!!

I was going to wait for resi evil 5 anywhoo, with the rate the 360 is dropping I'll probably get one free when I buy the game!
