Ok I dunno if this is allowed here, if it isn't please delete mods. But it is pretty urgent, Basically my sister is moving into a council flat that doesn't allow pets & they need to get rid of the cats, so they are offering them up to anyone who wants them. We've tried the RSPCA & other random places but they have a backlog :(

So if you live in Telford or anywhere near here & your able to pick them up or be dropped off to(the latter must be in Telford!), Please reply here. I need an answer before tomorrow morning though else they will have to be put to sleep unfortunately :(

A little bit of info:

One is ginger & the other is ginger & white. They haven't had the snip yet. Very well looked after & trained also.

If there's any more info you need please let me know :)

Disgusting.

Look in your local paper/yellowpages for the cat protection they will home your cats. Don't have perfectly good cats put down!

I am sure if you insist that you can't find anywhere to home them that they will do something more about it. Best of luck. try and not have them put down :(

Because she's having them killed for no good reason?

Well we know this & it is the last resort mate, we don't want to have them killed either, honestly we aren't that type of people. But if we can't give them to a good home, we can't exactly leave them on the streets :(

We have exhausted everything we have asked everywhere & all people we know around here. That is why I have come to OcUK to ask if anyone would like them. Sorry if i came across a bit sinister in my first post.

Reply to thepharcyde nope they haven't had it done, but my sister has a voucher for it to be done for free. Reply to Maccy, I don't live on my own else I would.

Why exactly is it not disgusting? There is no reason to have them killed. The RSCPA would be round your door if i were your neighbour and knew about this.

Cat's are not humans, they are not on the same level, if theres no space, they get put down. Some one has to pay the bill at the end of the day. It would be more crewl to stick them on the streets where they will be homeless and eventually be picked up...thne put to sleep for being mangey.

The point is, that it has been left till the day before moving to post something about it. This should have been done months ago.

If you read my post we have resorted to asking the RSPCA & they have a backlog & we would take them to the vets for it to be done! not done by us.

Energize, we have asked this around our area for some time now, This isn't a spur of the moment thing, OcUK was our last resort.

Well i would make the effort to travel to an animal shelter even if it was not in my area. Or at least hold them for a bit and put up flyers to see if anyone wants them. Thats what i would do anyway, just imo.

Did you tell the RSCPA that you will have them put down because you can't find a home for them?
