2 free cats/kittens to a good home

Why not start another thread to discuss the morals of pet euthanasia and leave this one for trying to get the kittehs a home:)

If you could hang on until next week I could probably find you a taker. I've got lots and lots of contacts in Telford.

if you cant find an owner atleast let them go try and find somewhere to live themselves :(

let them loose in a student area and they will be stolem/homed in no time

Well we'll see what the options are andy, We don't want to put them down we really don't but also we don't want them to be neglected by shoving them on the streets. I know I sound very cruel by saying what I did & I don't condone it. We'll see how it goes. The student idea sounds quite good actually.

Have you tried the Cats Protection League? I can't imagine they would turn you down

Even if you just left them there without prior appointment, they'd take them in and they never put a healthy cat down.

I wish I was closer to you, I'd take them off you and take them to my local CPL, my brother in law is the maintenance manager there.

At worst case you can put them in a basket and drop them off outside a shelter dead early in the morning ( make sure to give them some warm bedding in it and waterproof if possible). They wont just put them down even if they are fully booked.

The sad fact is that the shelters are chock full of animals now due to the credit crunch, people get pets they cant afford to neuter or they find that they cant afford to keep pets anymore and so the shelters are fit to burst.

The rspca will put down animals that dont get rehomed, so try the cats pretection league. The rspca are scumbags who try to come over as the "good guys" when in actual fact they are mostly ( not all of course ) jumped up mini-hitlers on a power trip.

Ok that's one place they haven't tried! they didn't tell me this! Even though they said they'd tried everywhere duhh :/ I'm going to give them a ring tomorrow & see if they will take them :) thanks Marf much appreciated! Yeah it is a shame AtreuS & it is also lame that the council will not let them have them in the house they are moving into :(

[edit: spelt a name wrong lol & fingers crossed here also]

Well when we rang AtreuS they really didn't want to know :( But you can be sure as hell if we just dumped them & someone reported us they would soon be knocking on their door. The rspca that is.

My friend had a cat in her council flat before they bought somewhere. They just "forgot" ;) to tell the council they had a pet and threw him out of the house for the day whenever anyone was coming for a look round.

Yeah we've thought of that idea Knip but the neighbours where they are moving into now will soon grass them up cause they are moving to a kinda close knit neighbourhood :( Old folks & all :/ I should also say it is a flat :)
