Enjoying my witch hunter so far.
Got him up to 14, only annoying thing is i've got a load og gear I can't use till 15 and finished my epic quest thingy, and I can't wear that till 17 lol

I am having serious issues with this game, my system crashes to a black screen when playing, this only seems to happen in RVR or Public Quests. I have the latest nvidia drivers, latest direct x drivers and latest sound drivers.

Im now playing as a Bright Wizard and having a lot more fun playing then i was with the dwarf. Im a level 9 now but the way i play and upgrade my core skills i think its all wrong. When i level up i go straight to the trainer and learn whatever is available. I have no idea about Masterie skills and how they work so has anyone got a quick guide on what i should be doing with them?.
As you can tell im new to this sort of game

You don't start to get mastery skills until level 11. Until then just train whatever you can. Make sure you visit a renown trainer too (there's one in the new emskrank war camp up on the hill near the flightmaster) as you get a point to buy additional stuff for every renown level you have.

Hey everyone

Really enjoying my Warrior Priest at the moment, even though he's only Rank 11 (I played one until Rank 9 during the closed beta). Anyone else on Karaz-a-Karak? Name's Eecao if you're about and want to join up for some RvR or whatever else.

Found a couple of random idiots in a SC last night (first ones I've really encountered) bashing someone saying he was doing crap and not healing anybody.

Strangely the healer finished top of the healing list on the SC and still got whinged at

People need to learn what other classes strengths and weaknesses are though if I'm honest.

I roll as a Bright Wizzard, and in PQ's and SC's I need to stay at a distance because you get killed easily in close combat. So when tanks stand by me and wait for people to come to us...

Same here, it's so tempting to try and use the most useless skill in the game, Flee, swords seem to have a range similar to bows and cripple me almost instantly...still, it's nice to see your name up in lights after a scenario:D

On the other hand, a witch hunter handed my warrior priest a really nice pair of blue shoulders in a PQ the other night cos I followed him around healing him the whole time. We came 1st and 2nd on the roll too.

You can usually spot the idiots pretty quickly, I tend to just ignore them and heal the people who know what they're at. And I never, ever EVER heal bouncers :p

CHokKA what server you on as im sure i played a public quest with you the other night?.

Heya Scarecrow. I'm playing on Karaz-a-Karak. I have a character on Eight Peaks and was going to roll on Azgal but I had to get away from the annoying queue's. Karaz-a-Karak seems to have a nice playerbase but it lacks the huge queue's which is great.

Higher levels are more appreciative of other classes usually.

I can push out the healing if needed - if I spam my heal. However I like targetting both syphons at a caster or tank. On syphon does 20-40 dmg and quickly ticks, the other hits for something like 200 a tick for 9 secs and that's the one that hurts casters :D

So often I'll see myself near the top but with equal healing and damage.. rather than outright healing.

If I'm getting beaten on... then my AoE 200+ dmg to everyone in a 30ft range and heals my entire group gets used (rank 2 morale). If I know I'm going to die then I'll pile on the DoTs and usually the attacker dies some time after..

Healing is one thing... rezing in combat to maintain the strength of the team is another that's not counted in the stats..

My Runepriest is lvl 12 now, not really sure what other classes healing is like, but i always finish top in scenario's, strangely even against Runepriests 5+ levels higher than me.

Still, you really have to be alert to everyone, i am spamming heals non-stop as soon as the timer ends, and i always seem to have the group that runs away and doesn't recieve damage, annoying.

We do, however, have very little offensive ability, we are pure healing, so soloing quests is crap and very very very dull. It's just tiny DoT, then repeat smite until they die. I work best in groups, ideally big groups.

So please, if anyone here is on World's Edge Mountain and has a guild i can join or is interested in forming one, let me know :D

I'm on Karag Orrud with my guild Delirium which is on the side of destruction (I was outvoted :p) and was formerly on Dark Age Of Camelot on Excalibur as the guilds Covenant Of Zak and The Dragon Legion.

Taking it easy and enjoying playing my shaman (rank 11) and black orc (rank 18). Shaman is my favourite destruction class so far :)
