No more Pizza Hut

It's just a publicity stunt. It'll be back to Pizza Hut by Xmas.

I disagree. It IS a publicity stunt, but it'll stay as it is IMHO. The idiots in marketing were thinking 'hmm pizza is seen as unhealthy..but that's what we sell what can we do?? Ah ha! Ice cream hut! Oh no wait that's worse... erm Salad Bar Hut.. yeh that's brilliant really great, nice and healthy, but wait actually we don't sell that much salad..hmm pasta hut it is then!'

It's their attempt to seem healthy when they're clearly not. It worked for McDonalds though...

Pizza Express = nice meal to spend lunch time chatting over
Pizza Hut = OMG I'm hungry yet we're watching a film in 35 minutes quick get the buffet and eat half of the kitchen.

It will revert back to Pizza Hut - besides they are only changing the name of 35 restaurants. They have been selling the pasta dishes over here for a while now, not tried them yet "3lbs of pasta delivered for $12" lol

Pasta is around 3 or 4 per cent of our sales.

They don't sell a lot of pasta either...

Brilliant ! "Pasta is 3 to 4 percent of our sales, lets call it pasta hut" Apparently BP (British Petroleum) are changing their name to BQ (Barbeque Charcoal)

That comment at the bottom made me chuckle :D .

Why do companies even have marketing departments when they are so utterly useless? I mean they still think that advertising on the tv works.

Pizza Hut's horrible - they spray oil onto freshly done pizzas.

Indeed, when I used to work there the whole "You get a free pizza on your break " feeling soon became a "Ewww I'm not eating that ****" feeling.

I ended up going to the Asda down the road and getting something else.

All the pastas come frozen and pre-mixed in a takeaway style foil package and are horrible anyway.
