World of Warcraft: Wotlk Collectors Edition

So £30 more for a mouse mat and a in game pet.... oooooooo!!!! hold me back lol..

Somehow i cant see me buying that. Not unless the ingame pet is very good at attacking things, bet its a snow man on legs lol....

If they actually gave advantageous stuff it might be worth it, but Blizzard are so keen to pander to people crying for balance that they never would.

You do gain an advantage. You get another achievement. As this expansion is clearly All About The Achievements.
 
I'm hoping Blizzard has some form of DD in place for it. They didn't do it for TBC though.

If not I'm going to buy it from the shops, I have never ever had a pre-ordered game come on release day, from several retailers I've tried. It's taking the mick. Conversely, games like MGS4, GTA4, TBC I got from the shops on the day of release just fine.
 
Buy the regular edition and a few CEs, then sell the CEs for £100 each on the bay once they're sold out.

I will grab the normal version - was going to get the CE but the extras look rubbish :p
Tempted to buy the CE and sell it on eBay for monies :)

I only did this with vanilla wow. Bought 3 CEs and put on the bay for a nice profit of £300. :)
 
sounds like a good investment then.

Plus it keeps it out of the hands of some wow addict so I'm doing someones partner/job/school/uni a service
 
I've got the Burning Crusade Collectors Edition autographed by Vice President of Bizzard :)

Foolishly activated it to my account, should have used a basic edition.

Will be grabbing the standard edition x2 as soon as i can at realease...not sure wether to pre-order actually if i can find soemwhere with some left
 
Im thinking about grabbing a few to sell on at a later date, maybe even next year depending on the prices.

Just need to find somewhere that is doing preorders
