I cant seem to get the uploading video thing working at all, i wonder if its because i have a space in my online name.

Thats when its connecting to the net - have you got an EA profile linked?
The one with the no entry sign in the middle is for HDD access
So far the people Ive asked with the PS3 version cant upload their vids - could somebody that can (even if its on the X360) just confirm what they do to get it online?

You shouldn't get it all the time, but it's FIFA accessing the hard drive. It's FIFA's way of saying "I'm busy, don't turn me off".
The other side icon that appears is the auto save feature. But I'm sure that one means it's accessing the HDD.
There's also one for accessing your EA Sports World profile on the net and/or when it connects to Xbox Live.
Right I tried pulling the ethernet cable and it goes away. Its there constantly until I go to a game. Like I said it's only started since upgrading the HDD an hour or so ago.
Oh well I guess I will have to get used to it.
I also have an niggle now where it tells me every time I boot up that I have dual save locations as I back my saves up to a mem card. I select which one I want then when i goto the load data for the Manager mode the data is duplicated.
I was doing this before today and it never did it.

I tried it and couldn't get it working either.
When I tried to link my gamertag to EA it will recognise mine without a space (R0B75) and sent an email to the account linked to my gamertag. But that isn't my GT and when I click on the link in the email it sends me to the account associated with the gamertag it tells me the tag has already been linked. When I try to do the same with the space in it, it doesn't recognise the gamertag at all.
I've emailed EA support about it but I'm not holding my breath that they will fix it.
I take it this is PS3?
It sounds like it's continuously trying to find the memory card, have you tried leaving the memory card plugged into the console and starting the game? See if it does it then.

I play on prof. but I have tried World Class and it is tough, although I have squeezed out a couple of wins.
I'm playing on prof. at the moment (start each new footy game on that sort of level) but I'm going to have to move up a level I think.
I'm not scoring loads (well, I do if I put Ronaldo up front with Rooney for United...) but half of the opposition in the Premiership don't even get a shot on goal all game.

Im playing on professional aswell, but i seem to be able to still score with ease, i think im just going to play on world class for a while then have a bosh on legendary for a while after that.
In fairness I would say A. Cole is quicker than Torres and Boswinga is also pretty bloody quick.
Has anyone had a keeper sent off yet?
The only reason I ask is that VDS got booked for me last night!
I think it was against Spurs, and Lennon hit a ball over the top of the defence to Pavlyuchenko who was miles ahead of Vidic and Rio. The ball went too far and was between Pav and VDS... with Pav running onto it.
I thought, right I'll call VDS to intersept... the ball didn't travel far enough and he ran out of his box and did a two footed challenge on Pavlyuchenko to get the ball!
I was bricking it, Van Der Sar was the last man!
You can't bring on goalkeepers in place of normal players... somebody would have to go in goal
But you can't swap them around? Would I just end up with an empty net for the next 70 minutes of the game (okay so about 7 minutes real time).
Luckily the referee only booked Van Der Sar... but if this happened twice in a match, surely he'd have been on his way?

You can put outfield players in goal and vice versa, unlike FIFA 08.
I have had a keeper booked but not sent off, however I know that it is possible.
How do you do this? Create 11 players, put them in a single team and play someone?
Yeah I put them in the Man U team. However you will have to remove some players from the team to put them all in and make sure you save the squad! Then once you have it delete the squad or load up the default squads.

This was pretty much the same in 08 from my experience.
Strange i find World Class easy but Legendary much more of challenge World class on this dosnt compare to Fifa 08 the AI was more in your face. In Fifa 09 its different but depends on teams style to how they play aswell as tatics is big part of game.
Also feels far less CPU cheating in Fifa 09 for me and also AI is much better very noticeable in Bap Season.

Funny how I start to score some beauties in the Arena whilst the servers are down!
Got this one atm I don't want to cancel the replay... From starting position, rainbow flick then on the volley, goes in off the underside of the bar. What makes it is the dip on the shot, unreal!
