Addicted to WoW?

** It costs me exactly $5711 in subscription costs per year with 36 accounts on the 6 month pay schedule. Not bad considering I'm looking at it like it's a hobby and there are more expensive hobbies out there than World of Warcraft. **

This is a silly amount to pay to play a game like WOW!!! still, his money and he isnt doing any harm to anyone i guess, but still, $5711, thats a lot of money....

Cant really understand why someone would do it myself. He says, "A lot have asked me, why create so many? The main reason is to invade Stormwind and Ironforge when they reach top level" ...ok, fair enough, but why not just get a bunch of friends together and all invade stormwind and ironforge, rather than doing it all by yourself? Seems almost counter-productive to the "multiplayer" section of an MMO.

No quibbles about the money aspect, if thats what he wants to spend it on , thats up to him. But I just cant see the logic of doing it in gaming terms.

I guess so, either that or the adoration of the people on the forum there and the ego boost of being made to feel special. Much like how a 3 year old says "look at me daddy, look what I'm doing !"

Ohhh..naughty me, I am in a cynical mood today it seems !

Nice hardware though, will give him that.
 
Personnally I think the blokes a nutter spending the money on a game. Have to say it's an impressive set up though. Must be quite a task keeping ontop of all the screens at once though :p.
