Spec me some deodorant...

It could be that you have hyperhidrosis. I remember one guy on TV sweat a lot under his arms and so he had the sweat glands sucked out or something along those lines.

It's not overly bad, just irritating...in fairness it may well have mostly been something from when I was younger, as I don't recall it being that big a deal at all when I forget to put deodorant on...but I put it on and buy the 24 hour stuff out of habit now...that and I think the normal stuff may MAKE me sweat. :)

There is a stuff called Driclor, you use that at night for a few days then once a week after that. Stops pitsweat and means you can use whatever you think smells nicest or no fragrance, or dont bother with any, just a nice aftershave.

I think I may have problem actually. I can walk outside on a cold day, wearing a t-shirt and I'll be sweating. This is after I've blasted my armpits with antiperspirant. Annoying. :o

It's only a tiny bit but something I could do without.

Heh, thinking about I'm not sure if there was a scientific reason behind it or it was an internet urban legend. I remember a while back there was a bit of a hoohar as they use aluminium particles to block your sweat pores which isn't a good idea. I'm not sure if that's the same now.

Its aluminium chloride that is used, whther its a bad idea i dont know lol

You could try Driclor

Yes, I guess Antiperspirant was the word I was looking for...will edit title.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Aye, used to be like that, I think I'm all growd up now though...should probably get some decent deodorant and aftershaves etc. really, getting rather bored of lynx. :)

I use Gillette 3x Cool Wave (the blue bottle). Works best for me and it smells REALLY nice, not overpowering).

Coat yourself in PVA glue, you wont be getting sweaty patches on your shirt then.

Seriously though. I *think* its Sure I use, as it has a pretty neutral smell, then get the smell I want with a drop of aftershave.

Driclor is great stuff. Apply at night, sleep with the tingling for a few days, and sweat is a thing of the past.

Might sound a little 'poofy,' but Lush Mr T is actually excellent, both for smelling subtly nice, preventing body odour, and absorbing/minimising sweat.

I ride into uni every day, about six miles round trip. A little blast before and after the ride solves any problem and i was one of those kids who in school were known as the 'sweaty child.'

The only problem is the possiblity of faint white streaks down the sides of my shirt, but a quick brush with my hands clears that away. I've been completely converted away from aerosols/roll-ons.

i did suffer from hyperhidrosis, i never smelt and i showered 2-3 times a day cause of my work + going gym football etc! i play football 3 times a week go gym once a week and eat well but i used to sweat a lot even walking to the shops.

doctors gave me this roll on deodorant thing u wear when u go to bed used it for 2days and its all fine now :) the doctors said botox would be next step but thats for people with serious problems!

use rightguard now + diesel aftershave and the woman wont leave me alone! :)
