Underrated games everyone should play?

I think

Fahrenheit AKA Indigo Prophecy in the United States was underrated. I throughly enjoyed it with a good storyline. :)

I can think of plenty of underrated games, but not many that 'everyone should play'.
Maybe Medal of Honour: Pacific Assault, which has some great atmospheric levels, very slick presentation (right down to the main menu), squad orders, good storyline with character development etc.

Toonstruck is a truly hidden gem and a must be played by all Christopher Lloyd and point and click fans.

Alter Ego

Originally on C64, translated to interweb and free to play.

Its actually hard to say its under rated, as it got 98% in Zzap 64 on release, but still plays as well today 20 years later.

Not under rated, but everyone should give it a try, first time i played it, a paedophile killed me after luring me into his car at an early age, the next time, i died of a heart attack while having sex with my third wife. :p

I don't know if it actually is underrated but Soldiers: Heroes of WWII I think is a classic game. It's the level of detail in the game that really impressed me. I always put this in my top 5 games whenever someone starts one of those threads. I always wished the brought out a sequel to this, it was release in 2004, then I recently found out they did, called Faces of War. I picked this up for a fiver and its not quite as good but still fun.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines

Awesome adult-themed FPS/RPG set in the modern environment (wish more were tbh) with excellent dialogue and humour - bit pervy too lol

had terrible bugs when released which meant very few people appreciated it.
