(wasnt very impressed with either of them to be honest, and the hystronics are a bit OTT)
 
Lets face it, neither are that great and we've got one out already and with any luck the other lot will face the chop next week.


Scott looked so relieved. Pleased for him.

Leon was acting weird, he seemed a bit out of it tbh. I was never a fan anyway so it makes no odds to me.

that was diana. she is gonna have a career whether she wins or not imo due to her unique voice, i think rachel will do well to because of this.

the girls are by far the strongest this year. cheryl cole has struck gold on her debut season.

It all seems to be a big push for Cheryl this year. I was not at all surprised to see that she got the girls, plus she and Girls Aloud are performing next week and the whole series seems to be bases around what Cheryl thinks.
 
both girl bands were dreadful (or the other contestents are just that much better?)... I think we can safely say we will see the back of the other group next week!
 
Well, I just scanned through the sky+ recording. Can honestly say I was only impressed by Diana Vickers and JLS. All of Simon's are useless. And all of Dannii's annoy me. Singing in Spanish? Oh how original... for a (semi) Spaniard. Got old really quickly that.
 
I voted for Diana and Laura, both very good performances

Dianas' voice reminds me of the lead singer from The Cranberries and someone elses who's name escapes me. I'd love to hear Diana sing 'Linger' though

She sounds like Lisa Hannigan, the woman Damien Rice sometimes sings with.

Yes - that would be good. There is just something about her... the way she sings and stands.... it's so.... magnetic. Or, whatever. Although she went mad with the hands tonight.
