How do you kill that which has no life?

I love gaming and my pc etc, but MY GOD that just over the top what ever way you look at it.

It must be more stress than fun playing that many chars on that many screens... it just cant be any fun at all!!

+ bet the owner of his local PC shop loves it when he comes in... i'll have 36 of everything please... :D

I think you guys are just jealous that you have to go work where he gets to play video games all day. :p

Personally, I think fair enough to the guy if he enjoys it. Not my thing, but we can't all enjoy the same stuff right?

It isn't like he went out and robbed someone (well, we assume) to pay for it :)

just been looking at the flight sim set up again and it looks like he even has pedals under his desk, now thats cool! would look so much nicer with some big lcd screens tho!

I love the attitude here.

If he wants to spend his money on that then fair play. If he enjoys it then awesome.

Seriously there are some ****s here.

he's 28, it's horribly sad, i would hate to imagine what life would be like revolving around a game, social life with real people f t w :D

How do you know the guy doesn't have a life?

There is no mention of his name anywhere (as far as I know), for all you it could be Robbie Williams or Bruce Willis.

Seriously, saying that someone is sad is a slippery slope, for all you know the guy could be 28 married, have children but just be a tech junkie.

Honestly, some people love hi fi gear, spend 500 pounds on that (for cables, or speakers only), others spend god knows how much on their care stero, others spend it on tropical fish, others watches.

I am not saying I would do it, I wouldn't, but to judge someone over the internet when you have know info on them other than one setup they chose to show the world, from a tiny corner of their home, is a bit holier than thou.

It is even more ironic, that the people making these comments are those hanging out on an internet forum, who I would assume all love PC's, probably read quite a bit about them, and spend their money on their "habbit".

I don't mean to seem like a jerk in the post, and I am not saying the guy is "right" or "wrong" to spend it on that setup, but he isn't hurting me or anyone else, and so it is better he does that for what he enjoys that taking drugs, or whatever else.

Im one for people doing what they enjoy, I played wow for 2.5 years, but i still think this is Sad!.

to setup something like this takes a hell of a lot of time and effort. to play a game in a totally different way to how its designed?... whats the point.

I agree it is completely against the spirit of the game, I think it is a bit weak of him in that respect. However, I don't mind the setup, I more don't see the point to play WoW (or any MMO) with basically yourself, but still I guess if that is what he enjoys :/

Still a bit sad though, in the same way i still think its sad to be a trainspotter or an avid stamp collector lol.

I know that might make me sound like a prat, but some things are just so seriously uncool.

Guess it is just one of those things where what people do doesn't bother me... it onl starts to bug me when they start wrecking the fun for me (and other people).

I bet he really cares

I reckon he must have an aversion to sunlight. I mean really how could anyone contemplate spending that much on wow let alone the TIME he must spend on it. I feel sick thinking about it.

What i find most wierd is that someone would choose to spend that amount of money in order to do something some mundane.

If i had 5 grand at my disposal i would be off seeing the World of REAL-LIFECRAFT!.

that kinda money could go nicely on jetsetting around, even seeing the south pole in an arctic survey!, stuff that you could tell your grandchildren about, sights that totally pee allover azeroth!

Who cares, let him do what he wants you don't know him.

That said multiboxing like that is seriously ruining the game for yourself, I wouldn't get any enjoyment out of it.

The guy wants people to care, otherwise he wouldnt photograph his system and share it with everyone.

I stand by the fact that the bloke must be a right norm!

its such a lame thing for a mature person to be doing!

he could quite easily be doing it and selling accounts/farming uber drops and selling for a but load to sell gold through some site and making a mint off it.

In all likelyhood he is a bit of a stay in doors type, but so what, its his life, if he enjoys this and doesn't do it because of your opinion and spends his time doing something he enjoys less, does that make any more sense?
