TGS: Metal Gear Solid 4 may well be on 360 after all..

This same nostalgia came up when FF13 was announced for 360.

Nothing solid has ever came up yet or even now. I like Snake controlling the MKII with a PS3 controller in the middle of the Battlefield.

I also like touch sensitive buttons to sneak.

Seriously overrated, it doesn't touch MGS1.

Heck I enjoyed the tanker part of MGS2 more than MGS4.

isnt the xbox still out selling the ps3 in japan aswell for now ? another reason to get it on the 360, tbh i dont care as i find it dull i liked the first one as it was new, but 4 was just to slow for me now.

The tanker of MGS2 was better than all of MGS4 barring the nostalgic return to MGS1. But the rest of MGS4 is much better than the rest of MGS2.

I hope it goes multiplat as 360 only owners are missing out.

Will need quite a bit of work mainly due to size and the PS3 references such as MK 3 controller, sixaxis and the disc swap pee-take scene.

Hmmm if this happens my PS3 will be gone. I haven't touched since I completed MGS4 and don't see anything until GT5 (if it ever comes out) that I would be interested in.

The only thing making me keep it is Lossless PCM from bluray, yum.

Well, if you've got 120gb.. and you could just install one disc at a time, no?

I would still prefer it on blueray, disc swapping is a thing of the past for me.

If you don't want to keep swapping discs you could just install all the discs I assume. That is if you have enough Harddrive space left.

Like I've said with game installation soon to be an option 360 users won't need to keep swapping discs. That is if there happens to be more than one disc which is highly possible. I assume all 360 users would need to do after installation is leave disc one in to prove they own the game and that's it.

You do have to swap the disks WatchTower, as MS have said that you need to have the disk in the drive to play installed games, so on multi disc games it will be the same.

Why would you need to swap the discs just to prove you own a legit copy of the game? Surely if disc one is legit all your discs will be.

Yeah I suppose that whole bit of dialogue would have to come out, although it wasn't a dig at 360.

Presumably if you could just use the one disk you'd be able to do some crafty jiggery pokery with lending your mate the other.
