A man has been jailed for life for stabbing his wife to death over a posting she made on the social networking site Facebook.

Wayne Forrester, 34, told police he was devastated that his wife Emma, 34, had changed her online profile to "single" days after he had moved out.

The Old Bailey heard Forrester drove to the marital home in New Addington, south London, and attacked his wife.

He stabbed her with a kitchen knife and a meat cleaver on 18 February.

Forrester, who pleaded guilty, was jailed for 14 years.

Yeah, the fact she changed it to single, not that she broke up with him is clearly why he did it ;)
 
She then posted messages on the internetz telling everyone she had left me and was looking to meet alpha-males.

this was my first thought.
I reckon he stabbed her in the **** with it and it was so huge from all the other dudes she was banging it just went straight in without touching the sides.

Facebook sucks anyway, it's the only one afaik that has a book on how to be better at it. You have to be seriously retarded if you need a book, supplying demand aint it.
 
I must admit though it is a little provocative when facebook announces to all your friends you are now single. Must be crap for the other half.
