8.10 hotfix for farcry 2

this is normally the queue for 15 different beta nvidia's to be released all with at least one major flaw in a brand new TWIMTBP title(not sure if Farcry 2 is tbh). Crysis release was to funny, a massive Nvidia title that pre release had a basically perfect driver from ATi and Nvidia release 10ish beta's all with issues.

Seems the hotfix is the same as the 8.11 Beta thats floating around, although the catalyst control center is the same.
(The ATI installer detects the driver as the same one as the 8.11 beta, but the CCC to be out of date)

Nice one ati!!Can't wait to see some benchmarks now. At least people might now stop basing their purchase on crysis performance and look to this instead.

The driver versions are the same, just the driver package and CC are newer in Vista???

These are 8.541.2.0, what is the 8.10 standard?

It is a TWIMTP game, but they couldn't prevent the developer from adding Dx10.1 this time, like they did with Ass Creed. :p

The Way It's Meant To Be Played (TWIMTBP) is a program that helps game developers to optimize and incorporate exclusive features in their games and applications exclusively for NVIDIA's video cards

Oh dear :o

couldnt they have just delayed 8.10 a week an put the hotfix in ?

:D ATI's final drivers have to to tested by microsoft etc..etc before release. Hotfix drivers are quick out the door jobbies that they do not guarantee to be fully approved etc, so do not have the long lead time
